GE Air Purifier HEPA Filter Kit

This filter fits General Electric AFHC21AM air purifier.

The filter from Abt through Amazon is shipped with a sealed blue cardboard retail box labeled "GE" and "true HEPA". The filter is also labeled. Your nose can feel the difference in air quality within 15 minutes of using this filter.

A "true HEPA" filter must remove at least 99.97% of particles 0.3 micron (millionth of a meter) or bigger. This includes almost all bacteria. If you receive a generic version of the filter, make sure the box says "true HEPA", and not "HEPA-like", "HEPA type" or "like HEPA". It is much much cheaper to replace filters than your lungs. Many people die while waiting for lung transplant. The

inferior filters allow much of bacteria to pass through. They are not worth the saving.
