As and allergy and chemical sensitivitiy sufferer I have a several of these units throughout my house. They are solid performers, last many years, and do what they are intended to do (clean the air). As someone with chemical sensitivities I also appreciate that there are few plastic parts. My only complaint is that the units are noisy on the highest setting.
