It needs to be replaced twice a year or more according to my heating system engineer. water draining through the filter eventually causes it to clog and breakdown due to the minerals present in the water. When that happens there is the potential for pooling water to be drawn into the plenum causing flooding. so keep a few as spares...This not a fault of the product but rather well water sediments that corrode the metal.Save 76% Off
