Rabbit Air MinusA2 asthma

I waited a few months to review this air purifier. The air quality in our terrible town is often at unhealthful levels. My wife and I began to develop allergies from the many pollutants in the air. despite changing our central air filters every two months, this didn't solve any issues for us. Along came the Rabbit Air I ordered from Amazon. Pooling some gift cards together made this unti more affordable for us here than direct from the manufacturer.

In the first two weeks running the purifier at night, we immediately recognized the transformation in our sleep habits. We both were able to breath a little easier. The bonus of the white-noise effect helped to drown out some of the local nightlife and street racing nearby.

The first night we realized the lights were simply too bright on this machine. I took the liberty to purchase some adhesive light-dimming dots to place over the operational LED lights. If you sleep in total darkness, this unit will be as bright as the noon day sun without it.

The wonderful pollutant sensing feature of this device is great for day-time use, but when the unit ramps up and down in the middle of the night it can disturb the sleep. We generally now leave it on medium for a constant clean and continual noise level that we both easily sleep with. Just don't forget to turn it on before one of you falls asleep, there is a triple tone for turn on and turn off that is quite loud in a silent room.

Cleanup is easy, when we vacuum the house weekly, we simply open the front and take out the front screen of the filter.

Pros:

Cleans great

Looks great

Easy to operate

You can feel/breathe the difference.

Replaceable filter seems inexpensive when compared to the initial cost of unit.

Cons:

Cost

Super Bright LEDS

Musical startup and shutdown can disturb someone if they are sleeping.

Automatic adjustment feature is difficult to sleep with due to the velocity of the fan changing constantly.
