I bought this unit to replace my old A500B from the same manufacturer, which worked very well for several years.This unit performs as described, but it's not really a replacement for the older model.
Air intake is from the back, so this model can not be mounted on a wall (like the older unit).
Power supply is external, not internal like in the older unit, which I find annoying and less practical.
More troubling, the manufacturer website describes (and sells) the ozone cell for the old A500B to be compatible with this model. That is inaccurate, as the ozone cells are completely different and not interchangeable with each other. Manufacturer website does not offer a replacement cell compatible with the 500CT, but my unit came with 2 cells, which should last for a long time (depending on usage).
