I have tried several different air purifiers. This is by far the best I have tried. It is much quieter than others, compact size, the filter is permanent, and it works great. We are getting another one for another room.Here's why I bought it. I wanted an air cleaner for a medium to small sized room where I keep my cat's litter box. Normally, it doesn't smell, but about the day it's time to change it, I can smell it. Now, I don't want to smell it ever, though I keep my kitty box schedule in tact.
