I wouldn't call myself a connoisseur of air filters by any means, so look elsewhere for comments on how well these perform as filters. I wanted to point out that there seems to be one small issue: the 1 inch thick filters appear to be too thin for my air ducts' cavities (which are 1 inch). When my system engages or disengages, I can hear these filters crashing into the the frames that hold them in place. Mine don't appear to have been crushed, and they have done this since they were new (and thus aren't clogged up), so I've concluded that they were manufactured too thin to stay securely in place.
