Despite the title, this product is not a GENERAL ELECTRIC WB2X9883 CHARCOAL FILTER.While the dimensions are very close, it does not fit in the microwave as snugly as the genuine part.
The mesh cover has much wider spaces than the genuine part -so more of the filter is exposed.
The packaging states "Range Replacement Filter... Activated Charcoal... QB 750... 6 1/8 x 11 x 3/8... Made in USA".
Finally, at one quarter the price of the genuine GE part, is it a worthwhile alternative? Given the elusive function of charcoal filters overall, cannot say...
