This replaced the tower fan in my room. It is more powerful and outputs filtered air. My allergies have drastically decreased since putting this in my fairly unhygienic home (shared with college kids). It is fairly loud in its medium/large output settings, but I typically enjoy it for it helps me fall asleep being able to drown out other sounds of the house. The low setting is fairly quiet and will do its job just fine if you just have it for air filtration and don't need it to cool the room. I Recommend.Save 38% Off
