I did a lot of research on air purifiers for my 1,224 sq.ft. basement and it turns out that this machine, albeit rated for only 269 sq.ft., packs quite a few unique technologies in one package:1) pre-filter + anti-bacterial pre-filter + HEPA (down to 0.3 micron)
2) activated carbon filter
3) TiO2 + UV (photocatalysis)
4) UV sterilization
5) plasma (negative ionizer)
And all for only $120? Not a bad deal at all. What are missing from my ideal air purifier include:
a) UFPM filtration (smaller than 0.1 micron)
b) hydroxyl generation (e.g. Sharp's plasmacluster)
c) rated for 500~800 sq.ft. at least
Once again, for the price, this unit is on my Wish List now...
