This was a really expensive purchase for us, but we felt we really needed it. We just moved and found out that the previous owners had multiple pets. We didn't notice how bad it was till after we moved in and I suffered several asthma attacks in our bedroom. We found pet hair, dander and urine in the carpets and had to rip out some of them. I put this purifier in our bedroom and it seems to be helping quite a bit.We also painted the kitchen and closets and stuck it in there over night to clear out the smells. You absolutely couldn't smell a thing the next day!
