I was looking for a pail that was attractive enough to sit on the counter but large enough to reduce the trips to the compost bin (I have the compostumbler...highly recommended). I had a ceramic pail before but found it too small and heavy, and a hassle to clean. This one works well, and would get 5 stars were it not for the fact that the lid doesn't seal. I don't know if that's a design problem or if I just got a bad one, but it's a problem because it allows tiny fruit flies to get in. But I haven't seen another one this size, so I'll stick with it.Save 17% Off
