I live upstate and depend on well water. After shocking our system twice, we still had bacteria in the water. I finally broke down and installed this unit and it worked! It passed the water lab tests and have been very happy with this unit. No more bacteria! Keep in mind you need to replace the UV bulb every year which can run about $70.
