This filter exploded open and let the zillions of sharp-edged hard carbon particles flood into my showerhead and bathroom floor...it ruined my expensive shower head that was attched, too! Carbon leaked into the gears and adjusting mechanism of my Speakerman shower head, and jammed it beyond repair!Avoid this brand...there are other KDM filters out there that work better, and are lower priced, too.
