I originally started buying filters online because my size (16x24x1) was not available at the retail stores. Also I replace my air filters on a regular basis and buying them from the home improvement stores can get costly. These are a very good inexpensive alternative. I use a 16x20x1 in a vacation property, and although it is readily available compared to the size mentioned above, I am now hooked on buying them online.
