the one i received doesn't look like the picture. the bottom, despite the product description, is capped with sheet metal. i'm not sure what i received really. it could be cheap and ineffective; how am i to know? no label on the product. the box has X3069 on it. but that doesn't tell me anything. really strange purchase. a relatively blank box arrives at my door w/ out a packing slip, invoice, or product labeling. would not recommend purchasing mystery items...i'm beginning to see a trend with Amazon sellers selling (or what i call 'dumping off') what appear to be not-as-pictured or used/slightly scratched stuff. just got a nextgen 400/600 ballast that looks used. 2 very dissappointing purchases in a row.
