We are pleasantly surprised by the cooling power of this AC. It works great on the hottest New York afternoons and cools down our living room and kitchen area (a bit less than 600 sq ft) very quickly.This AC works great even while using the oven in the attached kitchen area. It is not too noisy definitely quieter than the lower capacity AC we have in our bedroom which we have to run constantly at the high setting to get good cooling.
This AC runs on the standard 110 volt wall outlet.
